Zoom Magazine referred to Michael as the “Father of Laser Impressionism.”
Michael Newler owned and operated a freelance advertising photography studio in Manhattan, New York specializing in commercial advertising for Blue Chip clients.
His achievements include an Art Directors Club and CLIO Awards both for National Consumer Advertising as well as several magazine covers and articles.
Newler was Staff Photographer at Pan American World Airways for Operations Training JFK ushering in the new Boeing 747 aircraft. Michael lectured extensively for Nikon USA; marketing/advertising manager for Contax USA; staff photographer at Leber Katz Partners Advertising, and marketing specialist for Canon USA.
He is acknowledged within the U.S. photographic industry as “Captain Explorer” for creating a program with a team of sixty-five world-renowned professional image-makers known as the “Explorers Of Light” from 1993 to 2003. It was a one-of-a-kind program linked to marketing, advertising, and sales. As “Captain Explorer,” he created, managed, and produced over eight hundred national events such as lectures, workshops, seminars, and trade shows. His original “Explorers Of Light” program has been copied but never duplicated.
Michael Newler is a cancer survivor who currently remains very active in creating fine art photos, consulting, marketing, and helping to educate the next generation of photographic image-makers.
